Why to outsource tax issues?

1.

An accountant is not a tax advisor. Neither is an auditor. Neither of them can sufficiently replace a tax advisor. That holds true even for the very best accountants or auditors.
High-quality tax advisors have:

  • In-depth knowledge of tax law;
  • Extensive practical experience with identification of risks or areas where savings can be made gained with several entities from the same or other sectors;
  • An up-to-date overview of what tax offices are currently focusing on, of planned future changes and how to best prepare for them, etc.

Thanks to this, with a tax advisor, you know that your actions are truly under control and can optimise your time. Not after the fact, when it is usually already too late. The tax advisor is also legally bound by confidentiality in relation to third parties.

2.

If you are not legally obliged to undergo a statutory audit, the tax advisor can allow you to file your tax return for income tax and to pay the related tax (and in the case of self employed person, also the insurance premium) with the legally determined deadline extended by 3 months.

3.

The external tax advisor is materially liable in full and also covered by statutory professional insurance covering risks in the field of tax consultancy. The insurance policies of accountants or auditors do not usually cover these risks. You are thus not exposed to the risk of misunderstanding or incorrect application of the legislation. Material liability of the tax advisor is also not restricted by the limits of the Labour Code, as is for example in the case with an internal accountant or tax specialist.

4.

We utilise our capacity to the full. Costs for the required software and education, etc. are also spread out over a significantly greater number of entities. All of this leads to lower costs.

The information given above has also been proven by a recent survey performed by The Chamber of tax advisorsof the Czech Republic among representatives of companies, according to which more than 80% of companies are happy with the work of their tax advisor and would recommend them to others.
